For U-haul anyone can rent a U-Haul moving truck or trailer. The rental truck company requires their customers to be 16 years of age to rent a trailer and 18 years of age to rent a moving truck. To rent either option, customers must have a valid driver’s license.
Penkse: You must be at least 18 years old and able to produce two forms of identification.
Budget: Renters must be 18-23 years of age and present two valid forms of acceptable identification. At time of rental, an additional $25-per-day underage surcharge for drivers 18-23 years of age will be applied.
Enterprise: All drivers must be at least 21 years old (18 in NY and MI with an additional fee). Underage and additional driver fees apply where applicable. Drivers 25 years or older have no vehicle age restrictions.
